About the event

6 Cultural CEUs from NASW (valid for psychologists, social workers, and counselors)

Learning Objectives:

1. Understand the historical and present-day uniqueness of New Mexico’s behavioral health needs

2. Enhance understanding of Self in relation to consciousness of linguistic and cultural identity

3. Identify culturally relevant professional tools for proactive change in the behavioral health field

4. Practice implementing inter/intracultural practice modality

Part of the proceeds will go to the non-profit, El Puente de Encuentros. El Puente supports underrepresented students who are interested in entering a Behavioral/Mental Health Profession through a year-long mentorship program to promote degree completion and strengthen their leadership skills.
